Daniel Irving is an award winning Vancouver BC based director creating films in comedy and drama. He makes films that explore physical and visual movement and refuse to stand still. Daniel grew up on Saltspring Island, a town of 10,000 people before attending Capilano University in North Vancouver. He left the program early to pursue other projects including developing a feature, and the Crazy 8s film Mr. James is Dead, which recently won 3 Leo awards and is currently on its festival run with Travelling Distribution. He also makes music when he’s procrastinating film projects AND can juggle - wow he really does it all!
